Yakworks Kayak has partnered with top coffee roasters who share our passion to help protect the river systems our customers love to paddle. What started as a small conservation initiative has quickly grown into so much more. When you purchase any of these coffees from us, a portion of the sale is donated directly to each of the Virginia and North Carolina river basin associations stretching from the headwaters of Floyd, VA to the coastal waters of Southport, NC including the New River, Roanoke River, Pee Dee River and Cape Fear River Basins. These donations strengthen water quality, restore habitats and sustain the kayaking communities that rely on these waterways for adventure, livelihood and connection.

It all started when a small cabin not too far from Floyd, Virginia became our family’s quiet escape - nothing more than two rooms, a porch and the kind of stillness that makes people breathe easier. Weekend drives up from Southport turned into a rhythm of leaving the coast, winding into the Blue Ridge Mountains and settling into a place where everyone could reconnect and slow down.

Over time, those miles between the mountains and the marshes stitched two worlds together. The rivers, forests and small towns along the way shaping memories, now in return we would like to give back - supporting the waterways and communities that made every trip feel like coming home.
