Bunks and Tie Downs

Our bunk system had to be highly adaptive for the many and constantly changing kayak hull designs. Crossbars were found to be more effective for certain hulls, whereas inline bars were better for others. As a result, we chose to build both into our BarCart. You can configure the bars in a "roof rack style" across the pontoon-shaped or flat bottomed boats, or set them in a "bunk-style" which runs parallel to the boat for V-shaped hulls. The bars are lockable with six various positions dependent on the width and hull style. Securing the kayak is also customizable: loop straps integrated to the wheel hubs serve wide kayaks, and the axle has a middle tie-down for narrower boats. The tie-down points accommodate 1" flat webbing cam straps (not included) or any rope less than 5/16" thick. The BarCart also contains four snap-on rubber bumpers that can be adjusted to give



Storage and Collapsible Components

Heading out for your kayak launch but concerned about leaving your cart unattended? Yak Attack has you covered. The TowNStow BarCart Kayak Cart is designed with a convenient, ultra-collapsible setup. Wheels are detachable at the push of a button, and bunk bars collapse with a bungee system– down to 18” for storage! Plus, no tools are necessary thanks to easy levers and buttons. Even the tiedown point can be detached from the aluminum axle if it's taking up too much space. Rest easy, knowing your gear is safe and secure.


Dual Kickstands

The BarCart comes with two kickstands. When configured with one on each side, you can optimize and support the loading angle for both sides of the cart. When not in use, the beefy kickstands snap in place, locked out of the way.
